Synopsis

Eileen, blind heiress in 1920s Tijuana, regains sight and learns husband Rick—a corrupt police chief—murdered her father, stole her inheritance, and jailed her son. Feigning blindness she plots revenge. At the racetrack she meets fierce street girl Rosie; together they rescue her son while falling in love. They trap Rick, drawing U.S. Magistrate Eldridge. In the final showdown, they turn the tables with a staged-death gambit, escape across the border, and find freedom on the California coast.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
