Synopsis

Evangeline, Heaven's youngest battle angel, is sent to Hell as demon lord Azrael's lover to assassinate him. She finds he protects outcasts—but still kills him. Pregnant with his hybrid child, she marries human heir Nathaniel to hide her son. Three years later, at a New York gala, she discovers philanthropist Dante is Azrael, resurrected as a mob boss. He reclaims his empire—and learns she has a family.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
