Wife's Secret Lover

Ethan Hale, the lead researcher in neuropharmacology, was betrayed by his wife Elaine and his doctoral student Noah: the two had an extramarital affair, stealing his pharmaceutical data and core algorithms in an attempt to plagiarize his research findings and complete his dissertation defense. In response, Ethan assembled four separate teams to counterattack; meanwhile, Elaine, in order to protect Noah, altered Academician Mercer's letter of appointment and hired a delivery driver to stage a car accident to obstruct the defense. During the defense session, Ethan presented all the evidence publicly; Academician Mercer exposed the deception and expelled both individuals. Left with no other choice, the two live-streamed a public accusation against Ethan for academic bullying, sparking a wave of public backlash.
