Your IPO Rests on My Patents

Su Wan is a core technical backbone of the company, holding three key patents. Yet on the eve of the firm’s IPO, she is forced out by her business partners working in collusion. They believe the company can still go public without her, unaware that those three patents constitute its core competitive advantage. After leaving, Su Wan sets up her own business and rises rapidly with her solid technical capabilities. The former company repeatedly hits roadblocks in the IPO review due to patent‑related issues, and its market value plummets. The partners come begging humbly for her to return, only to be turned down on the spot. Su Wan leads her own team to a successful IPO, leaving those who once looked down on her far behind. She proves that true value can never be taken away through schemes of exclusion.
