Victory of Justice

Rosie Harris wanted a quiet visit home. She is a lawyer with an elite practice, and the trip was to see family. Her childhood friend Quinn Finch was being beaten by her husband, and so were several other women in the town. Rosie offered to take their divorce cases. Quinn then accused her of taking large sums from the women under the pretence of litigation fees. Rosie was convicted and sent to prison, and her family were insulted in the street. From inside, she worked the case. She used the rivalries between the people with power in the town and looked for the gaps in the law that the accusation rested on, and she began taking the story apart piece by piece.
