My Legendary Dad Returns

Jason Adams's ex-wife and her lover killed his eldest daughter ten years ago. Jason, who ran the Adams organization and had money enough to do as he liked, killed them both and went to prison for it. Before going in he arranged everything, handing the Liu family a hundred million to raise his younger daughter Emily. The Lius mistreated her instead and she ran off, and she spent those years living under other people's roofs. Jason comes out after ten years wanting a quiet life with Emily and finds her being abused by her husband Wayne and his parents and sister. He puts them in their place, then goes to the Lius for the rest of the money, and they accuse him of breaking in to rob them. Emily does not thank him for any of it. She believes he murdered her mother, and he does not tell her what her mother did, thinking she could not take it. Wayne convinces Emily that Jason is not her real father and that she owes her mother revenge, and the two of them arrange for Jason to be poisoned.
