The Immortal's Return

Nigel Larkin's childhood friend is the first person he runs into after he comes down from the mountain, and he offends her by accident, which sets the two of them against each other from then on. He had spent years cultivating and had broken through shortly before, arriving in the city as a master no one there can match. He wins over a woman known as the goddess of the martial world, and he helps a wealthy businesswoman in the port city settle the crisis inside her family. That work draws him into the fight over martial supremacy in Centropolis, where he beats down the people who come at him and ends up at the top.
