The Day Fate Found Us

Nathan Ford runs Ford Corp. He has never married, because of a girl he knew as a child and never found again. His mother wants a grandchild and has run out of patience, so she puts a drug in his drink. The night it produces is with Yelena Shaw, the young woman working in the house as a nanny. Afterwards he decides she engineered it for money. Yelena is pregnant. Lydia Zane, who wants Nathan for herself, finds out and decides to be rid of Yelena and the child so that nothing is left to complicate matters. Nathan has the circumstances of that night looked into, and what comes back tells him who Yelena is: the girl from his childhood. Lydia's plan is already in motion by then, and Yelena's life is in danger when he reaches her.
