After accidentally flooding what he thinks is a backyard—actually the Heavenly Court—he descends to the mortal world with a Heavenly Court phone and stumbles into the Jiang family engagement. Bullied by Luna and Talon, he reveals boundless merit and divine fate, drawing gods to descend. As Boreas allies with Western gods and chaos erupts, Maximus awakens as the Heavenly Emperor, suppresses the rebellion, and restores order. In the end, he stays in the mortal world with Selene, delaying his return to the Heavenly Court.
