Married by Fate, Feared by All

Pierre Young married on his teacher's orders and stuck it out for three years. His wife wanted him gone and forced the divorce through. For most of those years the people around them took him for a man living off her. He signs the papers. The same day, a woman who runs her own company pulls him into a registry office and marries him, and he goes to work as her protection. He is a Daoist master of the kind that turns up once in a century, trained in medicine as well as the arts. He treats people who need treating, and the same training goes the other way when someone crosses him. His ex-wife's business slides after he leaves, and she learns later what he had been the whole time she had him.
