Synopsis

Grace called her niece Leonie cursed and beat her. When word came that Leonie's father had died, Grace put the seven-year-old out of the house. Ada, Leonie's grandmother, took her in and paid five pounds of flour for her. Leonie was an angel and kept it hidden. Wild honey appeared where she went, and boars, and a spring whose water healed the sick. Grace and her daughter Ella went after Leonie again, and the light around her grew brighter. Leonie held to the belief that her father would come back in the light.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
