The Lion's Captive 2

Kane King-Alexander and his family were separated years ago, and he had long believed them dead. A tribute runestone shows him otherwise. They are alive in a frozen dungeon, held there and tortured, and Kane has spent those years grieving instead of looking. He puts the grief aside and wakes the old power he had left dormant. The people holding them answer to Lord Seth and the House of Boross. Kane cuts through the guards and takes his family back, though the one who arranged all of it is not in the dungeon, and the betrayal that costs him most has not come from the enemy he went there to kill.
