Wolf King's Secret Human Babies

Synopsis

Serena's mother left her a company that other people are running, and getting it back is the only thing on her mind. The plan involves a night that does not go the way she intended, and the man she ends up in bed with is Ian Morrow, the Wolf King. Three days later the lineage stone she carries cracks, which is how their kind confirms a pregnancy. She leaves. Four years later she is back with two children who carry the royal bloodline, and Ian finds out they exist. He comes after her and there is nowhere in his territory she can go that he cannot follow. She expects to be punished for taking his heirs and hiding them, and instead he keeps her close, puts himself between her and everything that comes at her, and starts clearing the way for her to take her mother's company back. When they move toward a formal marriage the priestess blocks it, because a former priestess's daughter went missing years ago and must be found first. What Serena has of her own past does not go back far enough for her to be sure it is not her.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.

The plot is hard to follow and never really comes together. With all the flashbacks and dream sequences, the pacing has no tension at all…
