Tick Tock

Vivian marries into the Forrest family in a sham marriage, for the money. The family owns a mine, and she plants a bomb in it to collect the insurance, and the explosion kills the Forrests, Grace among them. Grace learns what Vivian did only as she is dying. Then she wakes, and it is three days before the explosion. She sets out to stop it and to expose Vivian. Her parents dote on their son and are just as fond of his wife, and they will not hear a word against her. The miners laugh at her. While she is trying to get anyone to listen she finds out that the family she is trying to save is no blood relation of hers, and that the one clue she has to her birth mother is a small curved bead. She goes on trying to protect them anyway. The bomb is on a timer. Vivian and her accomplice have left traces of the sham marriage and the insurance scheme behind them, and Grace goes after those.
