The Boy from Another Planet

Somewhere beyond Earth there is a planet whose people have powers. A woman from that planet had a son with a man from Earth, and the boy, Atlas, is six now and has never met his father. He gets into enough mischief that his mother worries about what he will do to the planet, so she sends him to Earth, telling him it is training for a future as a guardian of the galaxy and that he can look for his father while he is there. He takes one photograph with him, part of it burned away. On Earth he wakes a man out of a coma. The man is Gavin Gandy, the CEO of a company that is in trouble, and Atlas uses his powers to get him through the crisis. A hidden enemy, Dylan Chips, hunts the two of them. By the time Atlas's powers are nearly used up and his life is in danger, Gavin finds out that the boy is his own son.
