How to Seduce the Prince as a Singing-Girl

She was an actress in the twenty-first century and died on set from overwork. She woke up in the body of Ning Xiaocha, a girl bought and trained in Yangzhou to be sold as a concubine, and due to be sent into the palace as a servant. She expected that admitting what she had been trained for would get her passed over at the selection, but it was the reason she was picked. The Crown Prince keeps to his Buddhist practice and has not broken it, and the Emperor and Empress want her to be the one who makes him. The terms are that if she does not get him into bed today, she is put to death tomorrow. So she goes at him daily. She falls into his arms by accident, her hand slips and pulls her own collar open, and she uses every shameless trick she can come up with. The ice in his face does crack. Each time it comes near the point he stops, puts his palms together and starts on a sutra, which leaves her wondering whether he is incapable or whether she is losing to the Buddha.
