Lost and Found

Jeremy Howard and Zoe Stilwell were together young and had a daughter. Someone reported the relationship, and the two of them were forced apart. Zoe went north to Beijiang so that Jeremy's future would not be ruined by it, and the arrangement was that she would come back to the old house and wait for him there. Twenty years later Jeremy runs the largest investment firm in Huaguo and is still looking for her. Zoe returns to the house as agreed. Her cousin has taken it over and has it slated for demolition, and knows Zoe cannot read, so she puts documents in front of her to sign. The daughter has been missing for years by then, and neither of them knows where she is.
