Cecilia Thompson kept the father of her son a secret for six years. The night that produced Theo was a one-off with Ethan, a stranger to her then, and she left school and worked odd jobs to raise the boy alone. Theo needs treatment, and to pay for it Cecilia takes a job at Ethan's company as his secretary. Ethan and his father meet a small boy who looks the way Ethan looked as a child, work out that he is Ethan's son, and start searching for him. At work Cecilia is frozen out by Julia, the youngest daughter of the Frost family, and rumours spread about her through the office. What comes out about Cecilia is that she is the lost Frost heir, and that she was betrothed to Ethan.
