I Burned My Marriage for Revenge

Ginny Lee lives her life twice. The first time, she sells off what her parents left her to put Julian Chambers through university, down to the deed of the family villa in Peppington, and Julian and her closest friend repay her by blackening her name and leaving her to scrape by for half a lifetime. The second time begins on the day Julian, with his university place just secured, calls off their engagement. She knows what is coming and she wants the deed back. Julian has already had a forged one made to hand her, and he and her friend have quietly taken the consolation money that was owed to her along with the things her parents left behind. Ginny finds out that the real deed is hidden in Julian's newly built house and sets a fire that takes the house and the document with it. Julian offers a large sum to have the deed reissued, then joins with the friend to accuse Ginny of theft and of setting the fire. Some time before this Ginny had written to an old friend of her parents and asked him to come.
