Oops... Wrong Father-in-Law!

Ken Hale wants to retire. He has spent three years in the countryside on a rural development project with only his younger daughter for company, while his elder daughter ran Silkend Group in his place. The younger girl has come down with an illness nobody has been able to explain, so he brings her back to the city for treatment and means to stay for good: hand over the company, look after her, and watch his elder daughter marry her fiancé. The wedding present is already set aside, cash on the order of ten billion and a block of shares in the group. His first errand in the city is a jewelry shop the group owns, where he plans to pick out a gift for the future son-in-law. The fiancé is in the same shop with his mistress. He has been running up purchases on the elder daughter's supplementary card, and the two of them are working out how he will take over the Hale family's holdings once the marriage goes through. Ken, standing in the same shop with his younger daughter, takes it all in. He keeps his identity from the couple, lets the wedding preparations go on, and plans to confront the fiancé at the ceremony itself.
