The Gambling Demon's Last Hand

Dylan had seen enough families come apart over gambling that he set out to end it everywhere. He beat the card master, the god of gamblers and the mahjong queen, and made all three of them swear off the tables. There was another reason he stepped away as well, a secret he kept to himself. After that he went quiet and took work as a foot massage therapist, which suited him. The games did not stop. Years later his sister-in-law is caught by an underground casino and buried in debt. Dylan puts on work clothes and gets himself dirty enough that nobody looks at him twice, and goes back in as a laborer. Inside the casino he sits down at the tables and uses the games themselves against the people running them.
