Ice Queen vs. Harem System

The senior disciple of the Heartless Sect is working through a list of tasks that tell her to wink at, giggle for, and seduce the lord of the demon realm, and she does each one with the same blank face she uses for everything else. The list comes from a system that latched onto her by mistake while she was breaking through to the next realm. It was built for the overbearing male lead of a different kind of story, and its missions read that way. She has decided it is her inner demon, and that the way through the tribulation is to carry the missions out to the letter with the sect's Way of Heartlessness, and to put down anyone who challenges her while she does. The demon lord reads her differently. He is paranoid and fond of working things out for himself, and what he has worked out is that she is madly in love with him. From there the two of them go back and forth between death threats and hand-holding she files as accidental. She goes on with the missions in the meantime and keeps beating whoever comes at her.
