Rich Again... But Not For My Kids!

Andrew's three children had him believing they loved him. He found out otherwise on his sickbed, when the only thing any of them would talk about was the fifty million in demolition money about to be paid out to him. He had raised the three of them on his own and worn himself out doing it. He did not leave that bed alive the first time. He came round on the day the money landed in his account. He refused to divide it among them. He gave his entire estate away to charity and told the three he was cutting them off for good. Without his money they overreached, ran up debts they could not pay and crossed a man with real power in the city. Andrew's adopted daughter, whom the three had pushed out of the family for years, came back to him with her husband. The husband turned out to be the man they had crossed. He had been a boy Andrew helped once, long before. The couple took Andrew in and looked after him.
