Born to Rise: A Dragon’s Ultimate Fate

The dragon clan spends the last of its bloodline energy hatching an egg and gets what it takes for a defective dragon, calling him a lizard. He is in fact a lifeguard from another time who woke up in that body in the primordial world. The Ancestral Dragon Pearl picks him as its master, which ties the fortune of the whole clan to a dragon nobody in it respects. He falls into an abyss, eats demon beasts down there, and works his way up to a ninth-rank true dragon. The phoenix clan attacks. The heavenly court moves to seal him, and his relatives are held in a prison beneath the sea. He uses the Ancestral Dragon bloodline to break the seal, and sets about restoring the clan and dividing the Four Seas.
