Synopsis

From birth, Stella is forced to wear a "Verity Band"—green for truth, red for lies. Her mother blindly trusts the device, brutally punishing Stella whenever fear or pain makes her heart race and the light flash red. Meanwhile, her sister Emma's band always shines green—it's just a cheap toy. Ultimately, Stella is starved and tortured to death. After death, she is reborn as Grace, growing up in a loving, trusting family. She heals her trauma, learns what genuine honesty means, and finally breaks free from the nightmare of false accusations and conditional love.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
