Chu Jiangong, the marshal's adjutant, was framed and paraded through the streets for "collaboration with the enemy and treason." His sister Chu Xi was forced to enter Paramount and sell herself in order to raise 30,000 yuan to save her younger brother. Sister Hong, the madam of the ballroom, saw that Chu Xi was innocent and allowed her not to accept guests for the time being, but she secretly coveted her value. At the same time, in order to investigate the family injustice case, Marshal Zhang Weiguo was drugged by his cousin Zhang Guangxiao, and accidentally broke into Chu Xi's room, and the two had a relationship. Chu Xi endured the humiliation to save his brother and asked Zhang Weiguo for 30,000 yuan, but Zhang Weiguo left angrily. Three months later, Chu Xi became pregnant.
