The Hero My Wife Betrayed Me For

On a flight, Susan Teo has a heart attack in her seat. William Chia, a passenger travelling with no connection to her, gets to her and keeps her alive until the plane is down. When she comes round she tells everyone he groped her while she was unconscious. Her son Leon is a well-known influencer with a large following, and he puts the accusation online and keeps pushing it. William is labelled a sexual predator, the Chia family gets buried along with him, and William suffers a brain bleed and ends up in intensive care. Then the public turns. With the story running the other way, Leon shows up at the hospital with his mother and a million in cash, wanting Shawn Chia to sign a settlement, and wanting William to record a video from his bed admitting to something he did not do. The argument that follows is where Shawn learns something separate: his wife Sophia has been sleeping with Leon for years. His father is in a bed down the corridor and his marriage was an arrangement between the two of them the whole time.
