Kathy comes down the mountain to keep a marriage contract, and the people she meets take her for a village girl. On the way she saves a man's life without knowing who he is. He is Zander, who leads the Golden Sect. Her father is the Supreme Elder of the Primal Sect and she is his only daughter. She has already reached the tribulation stage of cultivation. Luther, the man on the other end of the contract, has been climbing inside the Golden Sect and no longer wants a wife from a mountain village. He tears the contract up with an audience and takes his time over the insults. Zander turns up while it is going on and answers for her. People from the Primal Sect come to provoke her afterwards, and she puts them down in front of everyone in the hall.
