Synopsis

Lu Ziqian is an internet personality. For five years he has appeared on a television programme as the son who looks after his mother, Lin Shuhui, who is paralysed. Away from the cameras, in the corners of the house they do not cover, he forces her medication into her and looks at her with disgust. Lin Shuhui stopped taking the medication some time ago. The feeling in her legs comes back. Lu Ziqian notices that she can move them and begins working to make sure she never stands again. Lin Shuhui sends the password for the house's surveillance cameras to the host of the programme.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
