Synopsis

After his parents die in an apocalypse overrun by mutated life, Ian Lowe is expelled by his cousin and left with only the family's derelict zoo. A newly awakened system transforms its plants into spiritual resources and its animals into ancient divine beasts, making the grounds an SSS-level refuge. Ian and agent Chen Jing enforce strict rules while repelling his family's attacks, deep-sea mutants, and creatures from the far north, gradually uncovering the ancient pact linking the zoo, the sealed beasts, and the origin of the apocalypse.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
