Hidden Immortal: I Became Her Bodyguard

Cultivation is done up in the mountains, and a cultivator who stalls there has to come down for whatever will move him past it. Ethan's master sends him into the city for that. What he is looking for is a spirit stone, and the secret inside it is the thing that would let him break through. While he is down there Yasmine's father dies and the family's holdings pass to her. Her relatives want them split their own way, and somebody outside the family is paying to have her killed. Ethan is taken on as her bodyguard. The two of them cannot stand each other at first and get past it because there is nobody else to rely on. They have a month to hold on to the inheritance and find out who is sending the people after her.
