Faked Death Exposes Who Deserves My Billions

George gets sick, badly enough that the question of who takes over has to be settled. He puts up a large reward in the name of the richest man in the city, which is a test built to show what his children pick when money and status are on one side of it. None of them knows he is the man whose name is on that reward. He adopted the three of them years ago and raised them as an ordinary father, and gave each of them one of the jade pendants that have come down through his family. He needs blood. Chester gives his own and asks for nothing back. The older brother and the sister take money and swap the blood out. George stops there, fakes his death, and steps back to watch what happens next. At the wake the two of them go after Chester to keep the estate between themselves, accusing him of things he has not done, hitting him, and taking his pendant off him. Then it gets out that the pendant is what identifies the tycoon's own child. They sell what they own and go to the banquet where the acknowledgement is to be made, and there they say out loud that they are finished being their adoptive father's children.
