Flash Marriage in Las Vegas

Brooke catches her fiancé cheating and drives straight to Las Vegas, where she marries his brother Samuel in a chapel that same night. She means it as revenge. Samuel is the one the family treats like furniture, the brother nobody puts at the head of the table. She does not know he runs a billion-dollar company under a name she never bothered to learn. Ten years earlier he was hurt pulling her out of danger, and he has carried the scars from it ever since without telling her. In that decade he built an empire, and most of what he built was aimed at her without her knowing it. When her ex comes back and tries to get her alone, Samuel has him followed, blocks his calls, puts private security on her round the clock. Brooke thinks it is too much until she opens a drawer in his house and finds a medical bill from ten years ago, the paper gone yellow, the charges itemized in his handwriting.
