Don't You Dare Boil This Egg!

Ji Rumeng was killed by her husband's mistress. She comes back to consciousness inside a chicken egg, in a kitchen, in a pot, with the old servant Aunt Wang about to set it boiling. At that moment the Chicken Fury System switches on, and it runs on her anger, converting it into whatever she can use. She has one thing she wants, which is her daughter, left behind in that house with the man who let it happen and the woman who arranged it. So the egg starts moving. She works her way up from what she is, gathering everything she can find about the two of them, feeding the system every time the fury spikes, staying near the child without being able to speak to her. The husband and the mistress carry on as though nothing happened. What she is climbing toward is a phoenix's form, and rebirth past what a mortal fate allows.
