Beyond Odyssey

Thousands die every day at Troy over one queen. A village in Anatolia pays no attention to any of it, and pays no attention to Lykaon either, a former gang killer with a scarred face who carries a curved sword. He killed the men who betrayed him and then ran, and in the village he lives with a widow named Iole. Creon, a bounty hunter, arrives with Greek pirates and raids the coast. Lykaon takes up the sword again to keep Iole and the village. He makes an alliance with men who had been his enemies: a former bandit, a hunter, and a soldier with a crippling injury. They set an ambush and burn what they catch.
