The Exiled Billionaire Fisherman

Chen Yuanhang came home from his military service to find his uncle Chen Degen had taken credit for his work and then put him out of the house. His father collapsed and went into hospital, his mother was left with an injury that would not heal, and there was no money. What his grandfather had left him was an old instrument called the Dragon Seeking Needle. On the mudflats he used it and dug up a giant razor clam of a kind nobody sees anymore, and a head chef paid him a serious price for it. He started working the shoreline for a living. His uncle put obstacles in the way, one after another, and Yuanhang worked around each of them while tracing the source of the pollution that had been quietly killing the shallows. That trail led him to Black Dragon Gulch and to the dragon pearl clam that was supposed to be a story. He set up a fishing cooperative and brought the village in on it, took his uncle to court over what had been done, and bought the man's company out from under him to put his own seafood brand on it.
