My Phoenix Bone Was Stolen!

Chen Tianji, an immortal lord, spent ten years looking for the daughter he lost to the mortal world. He finds her, brings her home, and announces he will make her heir to the heavens. Huang Ying, the girl he adopted while his real daughter was missing, does not take it well. She tortures the newcomer in private where nobody sees it, then goes further and makes a deal with the Demon Lord, who needs the phoenix bone in the girl's body to save the demons' own crown prince. They take it out of her. Chen Tianji goes into the demon realm himself to get the bone back and drags the whole arrangement into the open, including his adopted daughter's part in it. The daughter has one thing left of her mother, a sword tassel, and following where it came from she learns what actually happened ten years ago and why she ended up down there in the first place. That version of events does not match what she had been told about her father.
