The Rage of A Sniper Hero

Jake was a sniper who went by Bullseye and was reckoned the best shot in the world. His wife was killed as part of a plot laid against him, and he dropped the name and disappeared. For years he lived on the street and drank, staying near enough to the case to find whoever had arranged it. The government came to him with an anti-terror job. He was to marry the president's daughter, a marriage on paper, and stay beside her as her guard and as cover for the operation. He took it because it put him back on the inside. Before the wedding was through he found that a brother he had lost track of years earlier was mixed up with the people planning a coup. Weapons, men on the inside, the coup itself, all of it ran together. Jake kept up the drunk in public while working through the assassins sent after him and pulling out his brother's crimes one piece at a time.
