Mistress of Fate

"I'm reborn." That was what Shannon Yeoman thought after she woke up in an infirmary. She was baffled at first, but she quickly realized that she was racing against time. Her father was going to jump off a building. Shannon tried to warn her father, but he did not listen. When she thought no one would be able to help her, Ethan Huxley appeared. Shannon remembered him giving her money for her mother's surgery in her previous life, and she thought he was also a gentleman in her current life until… Ethan offered her to be his mistress for two years. Not only did Shannon need Ethan's help to save her father's company, but she also knew that he would be an excellent pawn to get her revenge on those who had hurt her before. Thus, she willingly accepted his offer. After all, what's the worst that could happen? Little did she know that she was slowly falling in love with the infamous playboy. When Shannon's true identity was exposed, she watched everyone she loved turn their backs on her. She thought Ethan would also do the same. But to her surprise, once again, he was there for her.
