Waking to Love's Embrace

Wen Li wants to tell Fu Zheng something and has no way to do it. A car accident has left her unable to move or speak, and Fu Zheng, an uncle of hers with no blood relation, sits with her and looks after her for three years. She is aware of what goes on around her. Somewhere in those three years she works out how he feels about her and promises herself she will answer it. She does not come out of it. She opens her eyes at eighteen, in her last year of high school, bottom of her year. The same three years of lying there told her what her stepmother Du Ying and her stepsister Wen Nuan say about her when they think she cannot hear. She decides to move against them before they move on her, and to give Fu Zheng the answer she owes him.
