Heatwave of Destiny

The play tells the story of a senior high school student, Yun Xiang, who is brought home by her father's comrade, Cheng Xiao. Meanwhile, the young people in the old workers' residential area of Shen Cheng begin discussing the rumours that Cheng Xiao is about to bring back his illegitimate daughter and share teasing stories about Cheng Che. In the play, the characters played by Lan Bo and Shi Tong are drawn to each other after a chance encounter, experiencing emotional growth and refinement during that scorching season.
