Lady Luck and Her Doting Suitor

Sierra Shore has just been found by her birth parents and is on the road home when a sign from her spinning top makes her get out of the car. She walks into a funeral in progress, interrupts the mourning, and asks Jayson Sharp for money in front of his relatives. The Sharp family is furious. Then she orders the coffin opened and announces that the old man inside is not dead. Jayson has been carrying guilt over his grandfather's death, and he decides to take the risk. He cuts his own arm with a knife so she can use the blood. Sierra paints a talisman with it and begins the rite to call the grandfather's spirit back, in front of everyone who came to bury him.
