Subtitled Love Story

The marriage between Nina Shaw and Hugh Quintin was drawn up as a contract with an expiry on it. Nina's heart belongs to Samuel, the friend she grew up with. Hugh states plainly that he has no interest in her, and they settle on three years and a divorce at the end of them. On the last night before the split the two of them sleep together. In the morning Hugh puts the divorce agreement in front of her without any warmth at all. Nina picks up the pen, and a window appears in her field of vision that nobody else can see, telling her that signing will land her in serious trouble and that she must not do it.
