The death game opened by dropping everyone onto an island. The others were issued machetes and tents, and Leo Martin got an old phone with buttons. The phone was tied to the Infinite Store. Gold went in and a blind box came out, and the box could hold anything. His cousin was still working with a wooden stick when Leo came at him with what the boxes had turned up. With the rest of them arguing over one small fish, Leo drew their attention the wrong way and took the king koi out of the lake. Gold is what counts for power on the island, and Leo kept buying. There are mutated creatures in the interior and players who cannot be read from their faces. What he was there for was his father, who had disappeared, and the store was how he meant to find out what had happened to him.
