Rise of the Fool

Synopsis

Daisy Lane adopts a simple-minded boy Walter Grant. They cling to each other. To cure him, they enter a mountain. He falls into a demon cave but inherits a celestial master's power, regaining his mind and skills. Returning, he protects his sister, punishes evil, heals neighbors, and rises as a guardian of justice.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
