Heaven Sent

Destiny is a blessing-child of the Celestial Court, and she is thrown out of it. To earn her way back she has to fulfil the deepest wish of the mortal she has been assigned. She comes down beside Naomi, a company head, reads her thoughts, and Naomi takes her in. What she has brought down with her is mind-reading, unusual strength, a mouth that curses things into happening, and the ability to change her own size at will. She uses all of it, with help from Gibran, against the people moving on Naomi's business, and she keeps Naomi out of their reach. The wish is granted and Destiny goes back up. At New Year she comes down again to the family she found here.
