Synopsis

After unexpectedly traveling back in time, Zhang Ye believes his modern knowledge will help him thrive in the past. However, he quickly realizes that without official status, life is harsh. With the imperial exam as his only chance, Zhang Ye earns a place as a scholar-in-training but has no money for the journey. In a desperate attempt to fund his trip, his father sells him and his sister into servitude. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
