Love of Addiction

Arlo teaches art. In the classroom he is quiet and bookish and keeps his distance. At night he gambles, and the losses build until he owes a sum he has no way to cover, so he goes into a high-end club and sells himself to clear it. Zane becomes his patron and the two sign a keeping contract. Arlo refuses to give up the teaching job. Zane, who cannot stand dirt of any kind, tells him not to let himself be soiled by anyone else. Arlo needles him about it and tells him not to fall in love, saying he is straight and only here for the money. After that they live in two registers: something that plays like a campus romance during the day, and at night the pair of them working the underground gambling rooms and taking them apart. The arrangement turns into the real thing, the casual nights turn into a relationship, and Zane takes Arlo's gambling habit away from him by force.
