Family First, Gangster Last

Synopsis

Gang boss Chen Fan chooses a fight over his wife's labor and arrives too late to save her. Death sends him back to the 1980s, when the wife and daughter he abused are still alive but terrified of him. Chen abandons the gangster life, builds a canning business, and uses steady work rather than promises to earn money, repair the household, and slowly win back their trust.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

You Are My Antidote

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
