Love on the Line

Synopsis

Caught in a kidnapping while pregnant, Riley Scott mistakes Sebastian Clark's actions for an attempt to abandon her and their baby. She hides behind the kidnapper's identity and confronts him by phone, turning the call into a tense exchange that begins exposing the reasons she has pretended to be mute for years. As old misunderstandings fall away, Sebastian helps Riley recover the courage to speak and live as herself.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
